Most Inspiring Places: Nepal

I’m starting these posts as a reminder to myself, more than anything, that travelling is the one thing that constantly and consistently inspires me and makes me feel right. Maybe they'll inspire some of you too. I know a few photos can’t adequately capture it, but Nepal is easily one of the most amazing countries I’ve ever been to. I’ve never been anywhere that felt the same as Nepal, and that feeling is virtually indescribable. I guess the closest I can get to describing it is “awe”.

While I was there I:

  • Walked through the jungle
  • Got lost in the mountains
  • Trekked the Annapurna Circuit
  • Rafted down the Kali Gandaki River
  • Wanted a cheeseburger
  • Ate 12,000 momos (approx)
  • Got mobbed by every kid
  • Contracted Dengue Fever
  • Drank through Oktoberfest in a 5-star resort
  • Shared a room with some swingers
  • Ate a banana split
  • Borrowed a boat
  • Detained a sex offender
  • Was on the front page
  • And met some of the most amazing people

I will definitely go back.
